About the Role
DeployPartners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Integration Engineer to join a specialized squad delivering a strategic, greenfield Azure Integration Framework for a major ASX-listed client.
This is not just a maintenance role. You will be responsible for architecting and building a modern, 5-layer integration ecosystem from the ground up. You will transition the organisation from legacy point-to-point scripts to a governed, Azure-native environment leveraging API Management, Logic Apps, and Event Grid.
Following the initial 6-month build phase (Epics 1 & 2), you will transition into a strategic Technical Lead role within our Managed Services team, driving continuous improvement and overseeing the integration of new business acquisitions.
The Project: Strategic Azure Integration Framework

- Epic 2 (Implementation): Building Pilot integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and Observability dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Deploy: Hands-on implementation of Azure Integration Services including API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain all infrastructure using Bicep templates and CI/CD pipelines
- API Design: Design and deploy OpenAPI-compliant APIs, ensuring strict adherence to “least privilege” security models.
- Modernization: Refactor legacy PowerShell scripts and SFTP file drops into modern, event-driven, or API-led workflows.
- Operational Excellence: Implement robust observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to create “single-pane-of-glass” dashboards.
- Acquisition Integration: Execute our “Acquisition Playbook,” wrapping new systems in APIs to ensure rapid, secure onboarding during the first 90 days of business mergers.
