DeployPartners, a leader in Operational Management consulting has won a significant deal with ASX listed SDN network provider to help them assure their services using the latest products from IBM, including IBM Netcool Operations Insight’s AIOps solution with the IBM Netcool Agile Service Manager extension.
The project will provide their operations teams with real-time visibility of their highly dynamic services which is a critical requirement for an SDN provider. Over 6 months, DeployPartners consultants will deliver an Operations Management Solution in an Agile manner aligned with the organisations DevOps practices.
The client recognised while their provisioning automation was industry-leading allowing them to switch on services instantaneously. They had a gap in the visibility into the state of their services, due to a result of inflexible management tools. So they could focus on their core product. They sought a commercial-off-the-shelf solution that has a rich feature set with the ability to customise to work with and augment their operations processes.
According to the client this solution will have:
Flexibility to scale catering for growth of the volume of infrastructure and services as well as their global distribution.
Improve the efficiency of the operations team, providing them topological visibility of their network & services enriched with data from their CMDB
Ability to build complex formulas to automate the rule based analysis of multiple related performance metrics.
AI that automates the correlation of events providing probable cause identification against related events and reduces the time and effort taken to identify the issues.
Integrate with existing systems including Slack, Jira, and their legacy CMDB.
